Inexpensive 5x100 to 5x114.3 wheel adapters
I don't know about you, but I hate it when I find a wheel I like, but they don't come in 5x100. Anyways I found this site that makes wheel adapters for the best price I have seen. Now you don't need the 2004 STI wheels to make sure they fit your car, you can rock any STI wheel, and also get a bit more offset for if you want to run wider tires.

5x100mm to 5x4.5" (5x114.3)

$32.49 Each

I will pass. It just seems too cheap. Although I am not a big adapter/spacer fan anyway.

Keep in mind these aren't hub centric for Subaru hub size.

Yeah, but you can pick up Centric rings from Big O, Discount Tire, or any tire shop for that matter for $10-15.

How do you put hub centric rings on the spacers when there is no place for them to slip onto the spacer?

If you want hub centric spacers get Ichiba: Like these.

These are what I use. Yes they are double the price, but well worth it.

Psh hub centric.....

I have 2 sets of wheels with out the rings and I have ZERO issues.

In fact having some hub centric rings with an older set of wheels they caused more issues then helped...

If you can mount them near perfectly centered it wont matter much, but otherwise you might have an off balanced wheel. Thats no fun.

That's what lug nuts are for.

Bingo. If you tighten your lug nuts fully before putting the wheel on the ground, your wheel will be centered......

Mine have always worked well. I'd rather use them than not, especially on a wheel spacer.

There are hub-centric cars (or wheels??) and lug-centric. I'm pretty confident that Subarus are hub-centric. Lug-centrics have washers on the lug nuts iirc.

I had to get hub centric rings for my rims, because the lugs didn't center the rim...I had to lift the rim a little, and rotate it slightly, or when I drove my car would shake like an earthquake. Then I bought hub centric rings and my problems disappeared. Big Grin

If the lug nuts/ bolt patterns are chamfered, then they will center the wheel.

It doesn't always work tho. That is why hub rings help.
